WHAT WE DO

We work throughout the year to engage with the UK community through different mediums, inspiring and empowering direct action in favour of a greener, cleaner and fairer fashion industry.

We partner with a variety of individuals, organisations, community groups, education providers, museums, brands and institutions to engage with a broad range of audiences and help grow a powerful movement for change.

We want to ensure people from all backgrounds feel included in the narrative of sustainable fashion and we work to make it feel accessible and relevant, exploring the different entry points to sustainability through a variety of approaches.

HOW WE’RE SET UP

A Single Thread CIC is a community interest company. This means we’re a small non-profit company limited by guarantee, rather than a charity. We have high levels of accountability and work transparently.

We have a small team of directors and an Advisory Board made up of people from the industry with a variety of expertise and experience. The Advisory Board support us in developing strategy and in reaching our aims. Have a read about our team here.
