Kicking off the programme of events on 21 Sep, the Slowdown Slowdown Sunday Sustainable Market held in association with Life in Colour CIC will be at Lark Lane Community Centre. New sellers are always welcome - contact Siobhan via email here if interested. Free to attend!

Friends of Bowring Park will be co-hosting the Fix It Sewing Repair Workshop taking place on 27 Sep with expert support on hand to help you fix, restyle, upcycle or repurpose your clothes. Sustainable Starts CIC will be partnering with Zero Fashion for the free Children’s Clothes Swap on 4 Oct where you can swap children’s clothing aged 0-11 and learn mending and repair skills at the information stations. Marina D Designs will be hosting the free Common Thread Sewing Workshop on 5 Oct and if that wasn’t enough, a special edition of the KFCA’s monthly community sewing club will be taking place on 24 Sep, focusing on knitwear.
