SFW HUB: COTSWOLDS

Delivering the Cotswolds Hub this September are Lucy (Lucy and The Stitches) and Faye (Fab Skills). On Saturday 20 September a fantastic range of activities including workshops, talks, demonstrations and swaps for both clothing and haberdashery items will be taking place at North Cerney Village Hall.

Local businesses and advocates of sustainability are coming together in the Cotswolds to provide inspiration and awareness of how you can reclaim your connection to fashion and textiles, including Remnant Revolution, Jolie Maison Cirencester, May Hill Wool, Pumpkin Socks, Sew Lazy Daisy’s. Just Fabrics Cirencester have kindly donated fabric for the event, too.

Workshops: You can join hands-on workshops, like how to creatively repair your clothing and making a no-sew t-shirt bag. Learn how to action sustainability

Demos/Talks: You can watch and learn from professionals, how to alter and repair garments and reinvent home textiles. These activities are designed to boost your understanding and knowledge about sustainable fashion & textile practices.

Swap Drops: Two swap stations for clothing and one for excess materials and sewing materials. Donate, exchange, swap for free

Shopping: Local businesses will be selling their reclaimed and sustainable products .

Ticket includes entrance all workshops and demonstrations.
